Meet Our Staff

We are very proud of our clinical staff and their dedication to making your experience with us the very best it could be. Each member of our office and surgical staff is a highly trained individual with experience and knowledge concerning your surgical procedure. Our goal is to provide state-of-the art care to our patients and we promise to provide compassionate expertise to you at all times.

Practice Administrator: Marcia

Marcia has worked in the healthcare industry for the past 20 years, first at the University Hospital at Stony Brook before joining us in July 2005. Married with two grown sons, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Technology at Dowling College here on Long Island. She enjoys traveling, watching movies, getting together with friends and family and buying things for her new grandson.

Practice Manager: Laura

Laura has worked for 12 years in the healthcare field and recently graduated from Dowling College with a M.B.A. in Healthcare Management. As the current office manager of our Woodbury practice, Dermatology & Aesthetic Associates of Long Island, she has been employed with Long Island Skin Cancer for almost three years. Prior to returning to the medical field in 2008, Laura worked for a boutique PR firm in Manhattan for a year and a half. With a Bachelors Degree in film and music from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Laura enjoys singing and performing musical theatre in her spare time.

Scheduling & Surgical Coordinator: Cindy

As our Scheduling and Surgical Coordinator, Cindy enjoys working with patients where her experience in the legal and business fields have served her well. She is the busy mom of four boys and four beautiful granddaughters. As an avid animal advocate, she supports numerous animal causes and works hard to ensure a safe environment for all types of animals. When she has time to relax on the weekends, she loves to do acrylic paintings, decorate and bake goodies for her family and friends.

Histotech: Richard

Rich has worked with our doctors for many years and has a wealth of experience in laboratory histology. Rich attended the University of Miami where he obtained a BA in Arts and Sciences. Married with four beautiful daughters, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading and playing golf.

Billing Manager: Hillary

Hillary’s experience in billing is extensive and she has worked for the past fifteen years as a medical billing administrator. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and is married with one son. In her spare time she enjoys knitting and playing with her two dogs.

Billing Specialist: Jean

Jean has been working with Dr. Mollick for over four years now and is an administrator in our medical billing division. Professionally, her focus has always been in the field of dermatology with a background based in the banking field. In addition to being a grandmother of three and a mom of three grown children, she and her husband have recently welcomed a new addition to the family in the form of a beautiful Cavanese puppy. On weekends, she loves boating and kayaking off the coast of Long Island.

Supervisor, Medical Nursing Assistant: Jennifer P.

Jennifer has worked in healthcare for over 8 years and has a strong background in dermatology. In her spare time she likes to read, listen to music and spend time with her family.

Medical Nursing Assistant: Aileen

New to Long Island, Aileen moved here from upstate New York where she's been involved in the medical field since she was 16. She was a volunteer EMT with her local ambulance squad. Aileen is a newly licensed practical nurse who received her diploma from Ulster County BOCES School of Practical Nursing. She is currently enrolled in a RN program through Excelsior College and plans to continue her education. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her fiance, participate in outdoor activities, and travel upstate to see her family and friends.

Medical Nursing Assistant: Vanessa

Vanessa is a graduate of Dowling College with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology along with a pre-medical concentration. She one day hopes to pursue a career in Medicine or Physician Assistant studies. In her spare time she enjoys exercising and listening to music.

Medical Nursing Assistant:  Gracie

Gracie is a graduate of SUNY New Paltz.  She holds a Bachelors Degree in biology and was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority.  She is a certified medical technician and also is a member of the U.S Air Force Reserves.  In her free time, she enjoys going to comedy shows, kickboxing and spending time with her family, friends and boyfriend.

Reception Service Specialist: Eve

Eve has worked for Dr. Darren Mollick for over 4 years now. She graduated top of her class from Branford Hall Institute as a Medical Assistant. Working currently at our Woodbury practice, Eve is proficient in both front desk and back office procedures. Eve is a proud new mother to a beautiful baby boy and loves spending all her spare time with her family.

Reception Service Specialist:  Jennifer A.

Jennifer has been in the medical field for the past 12 years.  Before working for Dermatology & Aesthetic Associates of Long Island, she worked as a pharmacy technician.  Jennifer is a graduate of CUNY Queens College and holds a Bachelors Degree in accounting.  In her spare time, she loves to cook and being with family and friends.

Reception Service Specialist: Jennifer T.

Jennifer has been with us since May 2006 and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. After a seven year career as a social worker, she has decided to return to school and is pursuing a Doctoral degree in Audiology at Adelphi University. On weekends she loves to spend time with family and friends.

Reception Service Specialist: Julie

Julie is our newest Scheduling Coordinator and has worked in the healthcare industry for over twenty years. Married with a beautiful nine year old son, she is heavily involved with education in her son’s district. On the weekends, she looks forward to traveling to the Catskills where she loves to camp and go antiquing.
