Meet Our Staff

We are very proud of our clinical staff and their dedication to making your experience with us the very best it could be. Each member of our office and surgical staff is a highly trained individual with experience and knowledge concerning your surgical procedure. Our goal is to provide state-of-the art care to our patients and we promise to provide compassionate expertise to you at all times.

Practice Manager: Marcia Hollander

Marcia has worked in the healthcare industry for the past 18 years, first at the University Hospital at Stony Brook before joining us in July 2005. Married with two grown sons, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Technology at Dowling College here on Long Island. She enjoys traveling and learning how to play the piano.

Manager: Laura Paul

Laura is a recent addition to the office, but has worked in the health care industry for over seven years. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media. She is happy to be back in the medical field once more after a year and a half of working for a PR firm in Manhattan. In her free time, Laura enjoys anything musical including singing, playing the flute and partaking in musical theatre.

Histotech: Richard Spallone

Rich has worked with our doctors for many years and has a wealth of experience in laboratory histology. Rich attended the University of Miami where he obtained a BA in Arts and Sciences. Married with four beautiful daughters, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading and playing golf.

Patient Care Coordinator: Edie Kennelly

Edie has been with us from the beginning in 2005. Since obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Queens College, she has been working with the public for over fifteen years. Married with three children, her hobbies include computers, listening to music and spending time with her family.

Billing Manager: Hillary Timmerman

Hillary’s experience in billing is extensive and she has worked for the past fifteen years as a medical billing administrator. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and is married with one son. In her spare time she enjoys knitting and playing with her two dogs.

Medical Nursing Assistant: Vanessa Soto

Vanessa is a graduate of Dowling College with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology along with a pre-medical concentration. She one day hopes to pursue a career in Medicine or Physician Assistant studies. In her spare time she enjoys exercising and listening to music.

Supervisor, Medical Nursing Assistant: Jennifer Prosa

Jennifer has worked in healthcare for over 8 years and has a strong background in dermatology. In her spare time she likes to read, listen to music and spend time with her family.

Medical Nursing Assistant: Rosalee DeCaro

Rosalee is a certified Medical Assistant and has been working in healthcare for 4 years. She has a background in internal medicine, ophthalmology and dermatology. In her spare time Rosalee enjoys playing the violin, going to the movies and spending time with friends and family.

Reception Service Specialist: Jennifer Truglio

Jennifer has been with us since May 2006 and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. After a seven year career as a social worker, she has decided to return to school and is pursuing a Doctoral degree in Audiology at Adelphia University. On weekends she loves to spend time with family and friends.
